2 APY = Annual Percentage Yield
An EZ Business Checking, Business Checking Plus or Advantage Business Checking account is required to establish a Business Money Market account or Business Certificate of Deposit. Please see our requirements to open a business account.
Rate Information: The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is a percentage rate that reflects the total amount of interest or earnings to be paid on an account based on the rate and frequency of compounding for an annual period. The interest rate and APY may change at any time as determined by credit union management.
Compounding and Crediting: The compounding and crediting of interest to each account type are set forth in this schedule. The interest period is the period at the end of which an account earns interest credit. Generally, the period begins on the first calendar day of each month and ends on the last calendar day of the same month.
Accrual: Interest will begin to accrue on non-cash deposits (e.g. checks) on the business day you make the deposit to your account. If you close your account before accrued earnings are credited, accrued earnings will not be paid.
Balance Information: The minimum balance requirements applicable to each account type are set forth in this schedule. The accounts use a daily balance method; interest is calculated by applying a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
Account Limitations: For Money Market accounts, no more than six (6) pre-authorized, automatic, or telephone transfers may be made from these accounts to another account of yours or to a third party in any month. If you exceed these limitations, your account may be subject to a fee or be closed.
